Grayhawk Scottsdale is a master-planned community where the everyday pleasures that make life so enjoyable are celebrated.

The first homes were built in 1995, and today the community consists of over 3,700 homes and comprises more than 1,600 acres.

It is located in the heart of Scottsdale and showcases the finest aspects of family – and the resort-style living in two distinct, yet interconnected neighborhoods: The Park and The Retreat. The community consists of more than 4,000 residential units with a broad mix of housing types. The Grayhawk residential community adjoins the nationally acclaimed Grayhawk Golf Club.

The neighborhoods feature a distinctive landscape and architectural palette that complement the dramatic natural beauty of the surrounding Sonoran Desert. Their mission is to be sensitive to the surrounding environment and history of the land.

Dining, Shopping & Entertainment

Located in North Scottsdale, just north of the Loop 101 Freeway between Scottsdale Road and Pima Road, Grayhawk offers both a friendly neighborhood and the amenities of a master-planned community close to shopping and other essential services. The 1,615 acre neighborhood includes pocket parks, city parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, grassy greenbelts as well as the Grayhawk trail system, perfect for jogging, biking, or walking.

Bordering Grayhawk are two large retail plazas with a variety of boutiques, restaurants, and everyday amenities. Just across the street from the Grayhawk Golf Club is Isabella’s Kitchen, an eclectic casual restaurant that overlooks the golf course.

To assure that residents actually become neighbors, Grayhawk installed a Resident Program Director in the initial stages of the community who works to intentionally produce events that build relationships for the long-term. Because of the diversity of options, the quality of the development and the incredible added value Grayhawk affords its residents, the community is widely considered one of the most popular and successful master-planned communities in the American Southwest. In fact, Grayhawk was chosen by the readers of AZ Business Magazine as Arizona’s #1 Master-Planned Community.

The Grayhawk Golf Club combines two of the Southwest’s most thrilling public golf courses with the ambiance and service you would expect from a private club. Grayhawk can be enjoyed on a daily fee basis – there is no requirement for membership; you only pay when you play. The club is home to the Grayhawk Learning Center (previously named the Kostis/McCord Learning Center) for golf instruction. The 40,000 square foot clubhouse includes the Quill Creek Café and Phil’s Grill, The Morning Joint (Mojo’s) as well as a golf shop, locker rooms, and conference rooms.
The Talon Course, designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, is a 7,000-yard, par 72 layout with dramatic views of the McDowell Mountains and is enjoyable to play. The Raptor course was designed by Tom Fazio and is one of the nicest daily-fee golf courses in the Valley. Raptor is a 7,108-yard par 72 course that presents an exceptional challenge. Both courses offer a variety of tee placements giving players at every skill level an opportunity for a fun day on the links.
